Very nervous start today ahead of our first really big ride. Luckily there was no wind and we were able to maintain a steady pace at about 18km/hour on flat terrain. We had a break every 10km and Lee wore her bike undies for some added cush!
Quite a lot of road riding today so our helmets were on for most of the ride. However, we did have some beautiful scenery along tranquil country paths.
Arrived at Hotel Locanda La Comacina 4:30pm, dumped our paniers and headed straight for our afternoon Spritz.
Quaint little hotel with terrible Wi-Fi but a fabulous shower! Today is May Day in Italy and a public holiday so the town is buzzing with people enjoying the day off.
