First stage completed! Wind burnt, sunburnt and tired but safe. Our minds were working overtime. Got lost at the start and navigation was a wee bit confusing but we made it!

We rode down the two gorgeous lidos, Lido and Santa Maria del Mare, that are the border of the Venezia Lagoon.

The truly beautiful Hotel Grand Italia was our reward for surviving our first day.

Showered and rested we had a wander through town and an afternoon Spritz (our new favourite and daily ritual!) before yet another amazing seafood dinner.
