PS they go very well together!
We arrived to the coldest day we've had on our trip so far to find that parts of the walk were closed for repair and that they were advising not do any of the walks at all due to the wet weather.
Lee chickened out but Ruby, Jenna and Dave braved the first section from Montrosso la Mare to Vernazza. Of course they were successful and the park staff had over exaggerated the dangers. It actually didn't rain again and proceeded to fine up nicely throughout the day.
Ruby and Jenna left to finish their five town adventure and then they headed back to Firenze. Dave and Lee spent the night in Montrosso la Mare with a sensational view and awoke to a warmer day.
We trained down to Corniglia so we could walk back to Vernazza. Again we were advised that the path was closed but armed with yesterday's knowledge, we set off. GLORIOUS! Spectacular! Wonderful!
We then trained to the last towns of Manarola and Riomaggiore. We lunched and wandered around until it was time for us to catch our train back to Firenze.
Arrivederci 💋
