Museum, Museum

Paris itself is a museum. Ancient cobbled streets, architecture and an collection of artworks better than anywhere else in the world.

From The Louvre to Espace Dalí to the Musée d'Orsay, we visited a lot. We've seen Van Gogh, Renoir, Rodin, Rembrandt and Degas to name a few.

Musée Orangerie with its massive Monet waterlillies displayed in an oval room, designed by the artist himself, gave me goosebumps upon entering.

The Musée Picasso was incredible, to see so many of his works all in one place was a privilege.

We have also had the luxury to visit many of Paris' smaller museums that house private collections.

Musée Jacquemart-André is one such place.  The museum was created from the private home of Édouard André and Nélie Jacquemart to display the art they collected during their lives together from 1833 to Neile's death in 1912 when it was returned to the people of France.

We have all been cultural sponges during our stay in Paris and enjoyed it immensely.
