Day 12, Winton

540km to get to the Lark Quarry Conservation Park, Dinosaur Stampede National Monument.

This archeological site is home to the world's only known dinosaur stampede.

Over 3,300 dinosaur footprints have been uncovered at the site. A multi-million dollar, state-of-the-art, eco and self-regulating building has been built over the site to protect it from deterioration. It's an amazing building and place. Makes me feel very insignificant and wonder what history will make of us...
